Join us for upcoming events in 2019!

On behalf of the Preservation Alliance of Lafayette, I would like to thank you for your enthusiasm and support of historic preservation in Lafayette. As you know, PAL is an independent non-profit organization, whose mission is to promote historic preservation objectives and to increase citizen awareness, appreciation, and participation in the preservation of historic and cultural assets of Lafayette.

I am pleased to personally invite you to participate in several inaugural events we are planning for this year, including a garden social to coincide with the Azalea Trail in March, 2019, and a membership meeting in May, 2019, which will include a tour of a local historic landmark and presentation by a local architect and historic preservation activist. You should also look for the PAL table at upcoming Art Walks in Downtown Lafayette, beginning in Fall, 2019. Additional details on these and other anticipated events and programs will be provided in the coming weeks. Updates will also be posted on our website, www.preservinglafayette.org, as well as on our Facebook page.

Finally, if you have not done so, please renew your membership and update your contact information on our website or by mailing a check to P.O. Box 2541, Lafayette, LA 70502. Membership dues are as follows: $25/Individual; $50/Family; $100/Individual Preservationist; $200/Corporate Preservationist.

We are thrilled to share the revitalization of PAL with you, as we manifest the voice of historic preservation in Lafayette. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events this year and to expanding the role that historic preservation plays in our community.

Sincerely,
 Andrea Veron
Acting President/Vice President
